Winter Park Doggy Art Festival a Huge Success!

Dog House Parties was pleased to attend the 8th Annual Doggy Art Festival in Winter Park this weekend on beautiful Park Avenue. All the party dogs were in attendance sporting their chic outfits (and cool sunglasses) while socializing with their friends.

Wiggles was the Belle of the Ball wearing her Easter party-collar.

While Porsche was all-smiles for the camera!

This year's event was put on by the Doggie Door to benefit the Sebastian Haul Fund - a non-profit organization that helps fund transport for Greyhounds to reach their forever homes outside the state of Florida. Since 2008, they have helped 478 Greyhounds!

Many other rescue groups were on hand to boost adoptions and raise awareness. Central Florida Pug Rescue was in attendance with some adorable pugs, like Hope an eleven month old apricot girl looking for her fur-ever home!

Even Sophia, lovingly described by her mom as a "stubborn" Havanese, let her hair down and had some fun with the party dogs.

There were many highly-skilled artists showing off their pet-themed arts & crafts. The folks at the Doggy Door did a great job of organizing this event, and I think all dogs would agree it was the Bark of the Block.
